Airbnb Good Booking Rate

Airbnb shows this in the progress tab but no idea what a good rate is.

I can fill up my house at 90 occupancy if my rooms were 10 a night but thats not my goal. Today i was happy to see it at 0 6 and that is perhaps the highest i have seen it in the four years we have been operating airbnb. Of course another way to gently apply pressure is to write a good review about your guest.

The research still found that at six days out average occupancy levels remained at 84 with researchers claiming cost conscious bookers still have 16 of all properties to choose from. I agree that one s booking rate is influenced by many factors. We have been on airbnb with this listing for 18 m.

Just wondering what other hosts booking rate is. We have two listings on of which is booked for longer period but the other one has just flat lined. Having a 90 occupancy would mean i m doing something right or my rate is too low but using that number alone isn t any indication of your success.

Note that we are not affiliated with airbnb we are just passionate hosts. This tells me if it continues over time that i my market wants smaller less expensive rooms if i m a good communicator in my listing and don t dissapoint once guests arrive. This often gives them an incentive to get online and rate your accommodation.

Around 20 of properties will be booked two months in advance with this figure reaching 80 at ten days out. The large room is booking about 1 and the smaller less expensive room is booking about 2 3. I am becoming increasingly more concerned about the fact that i don t have any bookings or requests for the coming months.
